Production Coordinator

Pay $33/hr Responsibilities Product Development Partner with Design to drive trends/concepts to executable samples by working with factories. Ensure compliance with the T&A calendar and major milestones by working with the cross-functional team; elevate issues to the Coordinator/Director as needed. Gather data and report development ratios to agreed levels. Adhere to sourcing strategy by partnering with the Coordinator/Director before placing sample requests with overseas factories; release tech packs to factories via PLM. Manage record keeping of tech pack send-outs and allocation on a seasonal basis. Actively participate in key milestone meetings with Global License, Design, Production, Technical Design, and Merchants. Track packages through UPS/FEDEX/DHL. Receive, log, and distribute packages to cross-functional team partners. Seasonal visits to local vendor showrooms. Work on brand collaborations & innovation. Production Interface with the cross-functional team members to ensure approval deadlines are met. Ensure the T&A calendar and seasonal milestones are being met and elevate to supervisor as needed, encompassing: PLM deadline, costing inputs, staging quotes for POs, etc. Procure, save and organize new cost quotes in preparation for review with the team. Communicate daily with overseas vendors regarding style development, production and delivery information. Review outstanding issues on PLM Edit and PO Edits, take action accordingly and elevate to Supervisor as needed. Work with merchants on garment cost, buys, production planning, and delivery. Help develop and improve tracking and record keeping systems. Perform other duties as required, including ownership of special projects. Able to work in a hybrid environment, meaning that some work may be performed remotely but certain essential functions must be performed in person/in-office on a weekly basis. In-person/in-office collaboration is required; the frequency of such collaboration (e.g., portion of week, entire week) is dictated by business needs, focused on product development, milestone meetings, approvals, etc. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent. 1‑2 years of related experience. Ability to act as liaison between many departments and possess excellent communication and analytical skills. Must be detail-oriented, possess keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, computer literate, and able to multitask with a high sense of urgency. Ability to juggle/manage multiple product types/categories within accessories. Experience with digital PLM systems, Google Drive, and Gmail is preferred but not required. Comfortable working in a hybrid environment – working in office 2‑3 days a week (or more based on business needs) with occasional remote work from home.
