The role is primarily onsite, providing in-home care to our diverse patient population across North Miami Beach and its surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for improving patient function and mobility through a range of therapeutic techniques. Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and analyzing patients' medical histories and physical assessments to inform therapy decisions.
• Consulting with patients and conducting thorough evaluations to identify their physical conditions, needs, and goals.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and creating detailed, personalized treatment plans to address these issues.
• Instructing patients on the effective use of therapeutic exercises tailored to their rehabilitation process.
• Using modalities such as therapeutic massage, electrical stimulation, and other interventions to expedite the healing process.
• Equipping patients with the skills to operate therapeutic equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and exercise machines safely and effectively.
• Maintaining comprehensive patient records, diligently tracking progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Communicating in-home treatment options and care strategies to patients and their family members, promoting a supportive environment for recovery.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure that every patient receives coordinated and effective care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid state Physical Therapy license for practice in Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Orthopedic Therapy.
• Demonstrable proficiency in treating a wide range of health conditions and implementing evidence-based treatment methodologies.
