Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, every other or third weekend required

Highlights:

• Specialized PCU environment caring for adult and geriatric patients with diverse surgical needs
• Case mix includes burns, plastic and reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial procedures
• Exposure to specialized procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• First-time travelers welcome to apply with minimum one year of relevant experience
• Floating within the organization required to support patient care needs

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care or step-down nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, IV management, central line care, blood product administration, and wound care
• Experience with arterial lines, PCA pumps, feeding tubes, insulin protocols, and dysrhythmia management
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal leadership role
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
