Job Description and Duties

The Special Projects Section, Grants Operations Unit, has an immediate opening for a full-time Analyst II at the California Highway Patrol headquarters campus. The Analyst II is responsible for effective management of the Department's statewide Child Passenger Safety Program. Applications at the Analyst I level will be considered for this position.

Working Conditions

The normal working hours are 0800-1700 hours, Monday through Friday, in office. Ability to sit, type, rotate, and work at a computer workstation to complete work assignments up to 8 hours per day. Travel may be required throughout the State of California.

The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each applicant's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. Each question must be included, numbered, and addressed in the same order as the questions below. The SOQ must be typed (8 1/2 x 11 size paper), no more than two pages in length, and 12-point Arial font with one-inch margins.
