Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, including evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring evidence-based approaches are utilized, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families to facilitate healing and improve emotional well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and strategies for effective self-care and coping.

• Monitor client progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs and outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Family Wellness and Mental Health Hub, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You may also provide services to vulnerable populations, including refugees, homeless individuals, and survivors of domestic violence. Your efforts will help these clients navigate their challenges, improve their mental health, and build resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
