About the Role
The Company is in search of a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) to oversee the day-to-day operations of the club. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, responsible for strategic planning, financial management, and maintaining strong relationships with members, the Board, and staff. The GM/COO will be expected to lead the development of a multi-year strategic plan, identify and address the club's needs and goals, and ensure the club's continued success. This role requires a professional with a minimum of 5 years' of leadership experience in a private, member-focused club environment, or a related field, and a strong background in team development, financial performance, and quality service programming. The ideal candidate for the GM/COO position at the company will have a proven track record in club leadership, be adept at managing diverse recreational amenities, and have a passion for enhancing the member experience. They must be a servant leader, committed to staff development, and maintain a highly visible management style. Excellent communication skills are essential, and experience in contemporary media for communication is desirable. The role also involves ensuring the club's food and beverage operations meet the highest standards and are financially successful. A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is preferred, and industry certifications are a plus. The GM/COO will be expected to be a proactive, diplomatic communicator, and to uphold the core values of the club while driving for operational excellence and strategic growth.
