Your New RolePay Range: $26.35- $32.00 / hour; based on experience.Location: Flexible hybrid schedule; Must be able to work at our Home Office in Mission Valley, San Diego, CA 2-3 days per week.Hours: Regular business hours Monday - Friday. Responsibilities:The Total Rewards Coordinator supports the day-to-day administration of Chuze benefits and insurances, 401(k) and saving plans, disability programs, and compensation processes. Partnering with the Total Rewards and People Teams, this role helps deliver a positive employee experience through strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and a service-focused approach to enhancing Chuze's employee value proposition.Serve as a trusted People Team partner within a small Total Rewards team, providing kind, timely support to Chuzers and leaders across the company regarding benefits questions, eligibility, enrollment, and coverage detailsAdminister our Total Rewards programs, including health plans, 401(k), HSA, open enrollment, compensation, and leave of absence processesMaintain accurate records, audits, reports, billing information, and payroll-related benefits dataPartner with the People Team and vendors to resolve issues, process changes, and support compliance requirementsReview administrator and insurance carrier reports for discrepancies, follow up on routine issues, and escalate compliance concerns as appropriateSupport required benefits compliance activities and recordkeeping related to COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, and other applicable requirements under the direction of Total Rewards leadershipMaintain awareness of Total Rewards practices and assist with compensation data, employee recognition programs, communications, resources, and ongoing training for managersYour Perks:Free MAX Chuze Fitness membership + 1 Free membership for a family member or friendAccrued sick time, vacation, and paid floating holidays401kMedical, Dental, Vision, and other supplemental insurance (with large employer contribution)Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributionsFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Discounts on all Chuze retail and Chuze Blends purchasesFree CPR/First Aid certificationChuzer Referral Incentive ProgramPersonal device stipend and company-provided technologyYour Skills:Requirements:Strong foundational knowledge in benefits and 401(k) administration or compensation practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail with the ability to research routine issues, identify discrepancies, and escalate questions appropriatelyOrganized and accountable, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesCapacity to receive and deliver constructive feedbackPreferences:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldSHRM or other Human Resources certificationPhysical Abilities:Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in EnglishAbility to sit for extended periodsAbility to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipmentDue to the nature of this role, the selected candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
