\nOur client is seeking a highly organized and technically savvy Project Coordinator to support the Project Management Office (PMO) and enterprise project portfolio. This role serves as the operational backbone of the PMO, providing portfolio administration, project governance support, reporting, audit coordination, meeting facilitation, and project tracking across a portfolio of approximately 130 active projects. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who enjoys working with project management tools, data, processes, and cross-functional teams. This person will partner closely with PMO leadership and Project Managers to ensure project information remains accurate, governance processes are followed, and critical portfolio activities stay on track. This position is ideal for an emerging Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst, or Junior Project Manager looking to grow within a mature PMO organization.\n

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Serve as a primary administrator and coordinator for the PMO project portfolio.
\n
• Support portfolio tracking and governance processes across approximately 130 active projects.
\n
• Maintain project records, documentation, schedules, dashboards, and reporting artifacts.
\n
• Ensure project data is accurate, complete, and aligned with PMO standards.
\n
• Assist with portfolio reviews, reporting cycles, and leadership updates.
\n
• Support OnePlan, the organization's Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platform built on Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365.
\n
• Assist project teams with project setup, data maintenance, status updates, and system administration activities.
\n
• Generate reports, dashboards, and portfolio insights for PMO leadership.
\n
• Troubleshoot user questions and coordinate enhancement requests as needed.
\n
• Leverage Microsoft-based project management tools and processes to improve efficiency and visibility.
\n
• Conduct regular project audits to validate schedule accuracy, status reporting consistency, risk and issue tracking, project metadata completeness, and governance compliance.
\n
• Identify data discrepancies and work with Project Managers to resolve issues.
\n
• Monitor adherence to PMO standards, processes, and reporting requirements.
\n
• Support governance reviews and portfolio health assessments.
\n
• Coordinate project lifecycle surveys and feedback initiatives.
\n
• Manage post-project surveys to capture stakeholder feedback on scope clarity, execution effectiveness, collaboration, delivery outcomes, and satisfaction.
\n
• Consolidate survey results and provide reporting and recommendations to PMO leadership.
\n
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the project portfolio.
\n
• Schedule and coordinate project, portfolio, and PMO meetings.
\n
• Partner with PMO leadership to manage calendars, agendas, materials, and follow-up activities.
\n
• Attend meetings to capture notes, decisions, risks, and action items, and track completion.
\n
• Support Project Managers with administration, planning, status reporting, milestone tracking, and deliverable management.
\n
• Facilitate communication across multiple project teams and stakeholders.

Experience Requirements

\n

\n
• 2+ years supporting project management, PMO operations, project coordination, or portfolio administration.
\n
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
\n
• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, OnePlan, or similar platforms.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, and Outlook.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Ability to track commitments, follow up on action items, and drive accountability.
\n
• Preferred: Experience supporting an enterprise PMO or portfolio management function.
\n
• Preferred: Exposure to OnePlan, Microsoft Power Platform, or Enterprise PPM systems.
\n
• Preferred: Experience with portfolio reporting, project governance, or auditing activities.
\n
• Preferred: Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies.
\n
• Preferred: Experience in technology, engineering, manufacturing, or semiconductor environments.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
