Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including obtaining detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations specific to pain-related conditions.

• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (such as X-rays, MRIs, or blood tests) relevant to assessing pain origins and management effectiveness.
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, including pain management medications and therapies, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously in the electronic health record system to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of New York.
• 2-3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on pain management preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while delivering quality care.

Compensation and Benefits
