Work Environment

Located in Buffalo, NY, our surgical center offers an onsite working environment designed to support accessible healthcare delivery. The team operates within a structured yet dynamic setting, where each day presents new patient interactions. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Primary Care Provider, responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to patients of all ages.
• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations to assess patient health and identify presenting issues.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, developing tailored care plans for each individual.
• Prescribe medications and initiate treatment protocols in line with established medical guidelines.
• Facilitate patient education on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and ongoing management of chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff, to formulate and update treatment plans.
• Manage referrals to specialists, coordinating follow-up care to ensure continuity and quality of treatment.
• Maintain meticulous medical records, ensuring all patient interactions and care plans are documented accurately.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and contribute insights to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying abreast of the latest medical research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role supports a diverse patient population facing various health issues, ranging from preventive care to complex chronic conditions. You will engage with patients from multiple backgrounds, providing personalized care and fostering trusting relationships that encourage patient engagement and adherence to treatment.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Physician Assistant license.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) is required.
• Must possess a valid DEA number to prescribe medications.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is essential.
• Bilingual language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in Internal Medicine or a related field is required.
• Experience in a surgical or fast-paced medical environment is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinical software.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
