Key Responsibilities

• As a Primary Care Provider, you will conduct comprehensive physical exams and diagnostic health assessments to evaluate patients’ conditions and needs.
• Utilizing your clinical expertise, you will diagnose and manage both acute and chronic illnesses, developing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Prescribing medications and recommending alternative treatments when necessary, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care that supports their health goals.
• Educating patients on disease prevention, medication management, and lifestyle choices, empowering them to take an active role in their health.
• Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, including making referrals to ensure all aspects of a patient’s health are managed effectively.
• Maintaining meticulous medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
• Participating in patient satisfaction surveys and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient experience.
• Staying informed of the latest clinical research and best practices in medicine to ensure contemporary treatment approaches are utilized in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be responsible for providing care to a diverse patient population across all age groups. The ability to connect with patients, understand their unique backgrounds and health concerns, and provide culturally competent care will be fundamental to your success in this role. Qualifications

• A valid New York Physician Assistant license
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) is required
• A current DEA number, enabling you to prescribe medications
• A bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience, particularly in internal medicine or similar fields

Compensation and Benefits
