Work Environment

This role is set in a vibrant outpatient office in Spring Valley, where you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team. The facility emphasizes teamwork and open communication. You will engage frequently with physicians, registered nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting and communicating the agency’s philosophy and objectives to patients, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a coherent approach to care.
• Maintaining professional competence through ongoing continuing education and engaging in learning experiences pertinent to your practice area.
• Executing various nursing activities as designated by nursing service administration, including managing patient assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary health team members to develop and implement comprehensive patient care programs tailored to individual needs.
• Determining appropriate assignments and overseeing the delivery of care by allied nursing personnel.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to allied nursing staff to enhance their capabilities in patient care services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with acute and chronic conditions. Your expertise will play a critical role in understanding their unique needs, delivering individualized care, and enhancing their healthcare experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or successful completion of an NP Certificate Program.
• Current national certification from AANP or ANCC.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• A proven ability to adapt to a flexible working environment and schedules.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with experience in outpatient care settings, especially those who have engaged in patient education and disease management. Compensation and Benefits
