Physical Therapist - OutpatientThe Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs aimed at facilitating a return to community activities. As an educator, the Physical Therapist will work closely with patients, families, students, and coworkers to promote understanding of care processes.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals, focusing on patient progress towards discharge.Maintain clear, concise, accurate, and timely medical record documentation.Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval.Participate in student programs, providing supervision and completing student evaluations.Create individualized professional development plans and actively pursue further education.Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.Demonstrate awareness of performance improvement initiatives and contribute to action plans.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureDegree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.Current CPR certification.Outpatient experience is required.ScheduleThis is a 5x8.0 schedule, with anticipated contract length of approximately 13 weeks.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
