Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and needs, using standardized assessment tools and clinical reasoning to develop tailored intervention strategies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, setting measurable goals aligned with each patient's specific conditions and functional capabilities.
• Administer therapeutic modalities and exercises, adapting interventions to ensure appropriateness for the patient's age, health status, and rehabilitation goals.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and response to treatment, using objective metrics and clinical judgment to modify therapy plans and set new objectives as needed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding exercises, preventive measures, and health management, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment provided in compliance with state and federal regulations, utilizing electronic health record systems to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care coordination and develop comprehensive discharge plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and professional development opportunities to keep updated with advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient demographic includes a wide range of ages, from adolescents to seniors, requiring a versatile approach to treatment that adjusts to various functional levels and rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist License in California, required upon hire.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a preference for those with advanced degrees such as a Master's or Doctorate.
• A National Provider Identifier is required at the time of hire.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills to facilitate effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is highly desirable, demonstrating a strong background in evaluating and treating this patient population.
• Continuous professional education in specialized areas of physical therapy is favored.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
