Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite at our orthopedic outpatient center, which embraces a team-oriented atmosphere and encourages ongoing collaboration among healthcare professionals. The clinic operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that is essential for both personal and professional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' specific goals and rehabilitation needs effectively.
• Manage a patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, to ensure focused and personalized care.
• Utilize specialized techniques in manual therapy to alleviate pain and improve function.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating diverse therapy methods to enhance mobility and strength.
• Educate patients on exercises and therapeutic strategies that promote independence and long-term outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each patient's care.
• Encourage patients to adhere to healthy lifestyle choices through education on fitness, nutrition, and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation patients, athletes recovering from sports injuries, and individuals experiencing chronic pain. Our approach is centered around understanding each patient's unique circumstances, ensuring care that not only addresses their physical recovery but also fosters emotional resilience and motivation.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• An exemplary professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment interventions.
• Experience in developing tailored exercise protocols that address the specific needs of patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.
• A background in accommodating diverse patient populations, including those with varying mobility challenges and healthcare needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
