Our team comprises experienced physical therapists and support staff dedicated to delivering exceptional care, primarily to patients covered by private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This position operates onsite at our Los Angeles rehabilitation center, where a collaborative atmosphere fosters both professional development and patient-centered care. You will work alongside two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) in a dynamic setting that encourages creativity, teamwork, and ongoing learning. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and tailor interventions that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated time and attention to each patient's treatment plan.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing evidence-based treatment methods and a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Provide cost-effective care strategies aimed at improving patients' mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journey, empowering them to achieve their maximum functional abilities.
• Document patient interactions meticulously in medical records to track progress and outcomes effectively.
• Engage in open communication with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans based on patient progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographics primarily include individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries and surgeries. These patients may range from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to elderly individuals needing support for mobility issues. As a therapist, your role involves not just physical care but also educational outreach to encourage lifestyle changes that promote long-term health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to meet state licensing requirements.
• Valid, clean license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No prior board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, with a focus on manual therapy techniques and exercise programs.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.
• Ability to devise and implement individualized exercise regimens based on specific patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
