Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Los Angeles, where you will engage directly with patients in their homes. Our home care model allows you to deliver therapeutic interventions in a comfortable and familiar setting for your patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals, physical limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a dedicated caseload by scheduling one-on-one patient visits, ensuring personalized attention and focused treatment sessions.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that actively engage patients and promote their recovery.
• Develop meticulous care plans with measurable goals that encompass various treatment modalities and techniques.
• Design exercise protocols and wellness programs that are specifically tailored to each patient's individual circumstances.
• Proactively reduce reliance on medications by exploring alternative physical therapies and non-invasive surgical options.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment process, helping them maintain a positive outlook on their recovery journey.
• Maintain excellent communication with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate treatment progress with regular checks and adapt care plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgical procedures or managing chronic conditions. You will work with diverse individuals, including athletes and active adults, each with distinct needs and rehabilitation goals. Your expertise will enable you to foster a supportive environment that encourages patients to actively participate in their healing process.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with no record of disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid background in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective exercise and treatment protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and engage effectively with patients of varying backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
