Work Environment

This role is an onsite position, predominantly within clients' homes across the Los Angeles area. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and enhancing muscle function in accordance with personalized care plans.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants in the treatment process, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functionality through diagnostic assessments, which may include testing muscle, nerve, joint, and overall functional abilities.
• Assess patients' home environments and provide actionable recommendations to enhance their independence and facilitate rehabilitation.
• Deliver physical therapy services as per physician prescriptions, employing various techniques including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Oversee the fitting and modification of prosthetic and orthotic devices, consulting with physicians on necessary adjustments.
• Regularly observe, document, and communicate changes in patients' conditions, collaborating with case managers and physicians to update care plans.
• Prepare detailed clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and collaborating on the holistic treatment approach for each patient.
• Provide instruction and guidance to patients and their families on care regimens and the use of therapy equipment, fostering empowerment and engagement in the recovery process.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
