Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Pinnacle Flex Wellness Clinic, you will be primarily based in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in the heart of Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct direct physical therapy interventions tailored to enhance functional performance, relieve pain, and prevent disability, ensuring adherence to established treatment plans.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure precise implementation of care strategies.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical abilities and limitations through diagnostic tests and assessments.
• Assess patients' home environments and provide recommendations to improve their independence during rehabilitation.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, both manual and non-manual, guiding patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize advanced modalities such as traction and massage to enhance recovery through physical agents.
• Evaluate, customize, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices, working in concert with physicians to make necessary adjustments.
• Develop, update, and contribute to comprehensive care plans, ensuring that they reflect the patients' evolving needs.
• Monitor and document changes in patients' conditions, promptly communicating necessary alterations to care plans to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and collaborating on treatment strategies.
• Provide instruction to clients and their families regarding the use of therapeutic devices and programs.
• Complete on-site functional assessments while ensuring that care plans are reviewed and adapted to utilize community resources effectively.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid CPR certification and a clean driving record with valid automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient facility, particularly within orthopedic care.

Compensation and Benefits
