Vitality Empower Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our committed team. Our facility boasts an expansive 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation, equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources. As a practice owned and operated by licensed physical therapists, we prioritize personalized care, focusing predominantly on patients with private medical insurance. Our team consists of highly skilled professionals, including two physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), working collaboratively to deliver exceptional therapeutic outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is onsite within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured day to provide focused patient care. Our collaborative environment promotes professional growth and utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to healthcare, ensuring that every staff member contributes to stellar patient experiences. With a patient caseload managed at one individual per hour, therapists have the time necessary to offer high-quality, personalized treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address each patient's goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans using evidence-based interventions and personalized approaches.
• Deliver tailored exercise prescriptions and interventions focusing on improving patients' range of motion, strength, and overall physical capabilities.
• Provide ongoing education to patients regarding their treatment protocols and the importance of adhering to recommended exercises.
• Track patient progress by meticulously documenting interventions and outcomes in our EMR system, specifically WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Educate patients on preventive care, emphasizing lifestyle modifications that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Foster a motivational atmosphere to inspire patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Regularly evaluate treatment efficacy and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Promote cost-effective therapy options that aim to reduce the need for medication and invasive procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic cases, where patients often seek rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. We cater to individuals of varying ages, offering treatments that prioritize restoring functionality and preventing further injury. Our goal is to serve each patient with respect and understanding, tailoring our approaches to meet their unique circumstances and aspirations.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid California Physical Therapist license with an impeccable professional record, free of any disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
• Strong capabilities in developing and implementing individualized exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic health record software, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated competence in personalized, patient-centered care practices.
• Ability to cultivate effective relationships with patients, fostering trust and open communication.
• A background in utilizing innovative rehabilitation techniques and modalities is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
