Spine and Joint Rehab Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, California. As a physical therapist-owned practice, we prioritize quality and personalized care, serving primarily patients with private medical insurance. Our team comprises two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), working collaboratively to provide exceptional care.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, our practice provides a supportive and engaging work environment. Our onsite facility is designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation and patient interaction. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, managing a caseload that allows you to focus on delivering high-quality, individualized therapy. Regular team meetings and collaborative discussions enhance our approach, ensuring continuous improvement in our patient care methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand and address the goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, allowing for dedicated attention to each client's unique rehabilitation journey.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques tailored to promote optimal recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, personalized care aimed at enhancing patients' mobility and reducing pain.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust plans as necessary, ensuring effective communication with patients regarding their progress.
• Document all patient care services provided clearly and accurately, adhering to organizational protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Empower and motivate patients throughout their treatment programs, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of patients, primarily those requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Each patient brings unique challenges and goals, from post-surgical recovery to sports injury rehabilitation. You will play a vital role in helping to restore their function and independence through tailored treatment plans. We emphasize reducing reliance on medications and surgeries by exploring alternative strategies for pain relief and enhancement of mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid California license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no board disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the implementation of exercise protocols.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Strong background in developing tailored fitness and wellness programs that meet individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
