Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to clients’ unique needs. Coordinate crisis plans and behavioral guidelines as necessary.

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation, complying with regulatory standards and best practices.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to support clinical decision-making.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support and medication treatment plans that enhance clients’ overall well-being.

• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain the organization’s high-quality standards.

• Serve as a liaison between clients and additional support services, collaborating with relevant state agencies and community organizations.

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery and engagement with the community.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, webinars, and networking within the behavioral health field.

• Adhere to agency’s mission and core values while performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing emotional difficulties, issues related to substance abuse, and those requiring support due to developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a behavioral health field is mandatory.

• A valid LMHC license issued by the state board is required for practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
