Job Overview:

 

Nexiya is seeking a motivated and driven Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist to support our client's organizational transformation initiatives and provide crucial support to a major utility company in their Kearny Mesa office. This role plays a key part in helping employees successfully adopt new processes, systems, and behaviors associated with both small and large-scale projects.

 

The OCM Specialist will support change management efforts by driving stakeholder engagement, minimizing resistance, and helping ensure changes are effectively implemented and sustained across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, business leaders, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to support change planning, communications, training, business readiness, and adoption activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and execution of organizational change management strategies and plans aligned with project objectives.
  • Conduct change impact analyses to assess how initiatives affect employees, business processes, and organizational operations.
  • Identify, analyze, and engage stakeholders to ensure alignment and support throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Develop and deliver clear, targeted communications that promote awareness, understanding, and adoption of organizational changes.
  • Coordinate and support training programs, training materials, workshops, and end-user readiness activities.
  • Track and report on change adoption metrics, organizational readiness, employee feedback, and overall effectiveness of change initiatives.
  • Identify potential resistance points and assist in the development and implementation of mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, Human Resources, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to integrate change management activities into project plans.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to organizational change management practices and methodologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Organizational Change Management, Human Resources, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of organizational change management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Ability to present technical and non-technical information to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Strong situational awareness and understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics.
  • Must be a self-starter, driven, and high-performing professional with a proactive mindset.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to effectively represent the organization when interacting with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully pass background screening process.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prosci Change Management Certification.
  • Experience supporting organizational transformation, business process improvement, system implementations, or enterprise-wide change initiatives.
  • Utility industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a project-based environment with multiple concurrent initiatives.

Pay Range:

$50.00 - $58.00 per hour
