As a Security Officer Educational Patrol Detail in Brooklyn, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to Allied Universal leadership and/or local contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor processing, and follow location policies for after-hours activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in required reports, and assist with directions, escorts, and other customer service requests as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
