Work Environment\n

The role is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technology to engage with patients effectively. Our telehealth platform is equipped with user-friendly tools that enhance therapeutic interactions and ensure secure documentation. While the primary working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some weekend or evening shifts may be required on a rotating basis to accommodate our patients' needs. You will have ongoing access to a supportive team that prioritizes collaboration and shared learning to improve therapeutic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients, focusing on the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Partner with clients in creating personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific mental health needs, using a client-centered approach.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to successfully address mood-related challenges.

• Provide consistent education and support for clients and their families about treatment options, fostering understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Track client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care and outcomes.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated treatment strategies are effectively implemented.

• Engage in continuous professional education to remain current with research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Maintain precise and secure documentation in line with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center focuses on a diverse group of patients grappling with mood disorders. This includes individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. As a therapist, you'll provide care to clients from various backgrounds and walks of life, attuned to their unique experiences and cultural values, which enhances the therapeutic relationship and treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of mood disorders and evidence-based treatments, including CBT and DBT.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and maintaining trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While post-licensure experience in treating mood disorders is preferred, candidates with a passion for mental health counseling and a commitment to learning will also be considered. A history of collaborative work with physicians and an understanding of psychopharmacology will enhance your ability to contribute meaningfully to client care.
