Work Environment\n

This position offers the convenience of a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while serving a critical role in our educational outreach. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with possible occasional evening hours and rotating weekend shifts. As part of your role, there may be on-call responsibilities during which you will provide immediate support to students facing mental health emergencies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of students with special requirements.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and therapists, to create and implement individualized treatment plans that address mental health challenges and foster positive emotional growth.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to conditions such as ASD, ADHD, and trauma, ensuring effective strategies are employed for both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Lead therapeutic sessions focused on enhancing personal development, effective coping mechanisms, and emotional regulation skills.

• Respond to crises swiftly, offering immediate support and intervention when urgent mental health situations arise.

• Educate students and their families on mental health topics, available resources, and coping strategies.

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes, ensuring adherence to applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss strategies for continued improvement in student outcomes.

• Stay updated on new laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to mental health to ensure compliance and deliver the best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with children and adolescents who face a range of emotional and behavioral challenges, with a focus on those within the special education framework. This diverse population includes students with disabilities necessitating targeted interventions and support for successful educational integration.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure is a must for this role.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates who demonstrate a strong foundation in social work and express a keen interest in working within the educational sector. Special education experience is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
