Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial comprehensive psychosocial assessments for clients and their families, using a structured approach to evaluate mental health needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the unique circumstances and diagnostic needs of each client, integrating evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Perform case management duties, coordinating care with community resources, hospital systems, and collaborative professionals to optimize client support.

• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, applying advanced clinical techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices tailored to client requirements.

• Engage in regular interdisciplinary meetings and patient rounds to discuss treatment progress, adjust care plans, and ensure comprehensive support to each client.

• Maintain ethical and timely documentation of all assessments, treatments, and client interactions in accordance with departmental standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Calm Connections, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults grappling with various mental health challenges. Our client population represents a spectrum of backgrounds and experiences, with needs including anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and relationship issues. Your role is pivotal in helping clients achieve meaningful progress and find stability in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Tennessee.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Availability to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate client needs.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is necessary to ensure effective service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a diverse clinical setting is desired, particularly in behavioral health. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques, along with a background in case management, will be beneficial in this role.
