Venture Capital Corporate Associate Mid-Level

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level corporate associate with 3-5 years of experience in venture capital transactions to join their New York office. The associate will work with a collaborative team advising venture-backed companies and institutional investors across all stages of the company lifecycle. Duties Draft and negotiate transaction documents for venture capital financings. Advise companies on corporate formation, governance, and securities matters. Represent investors in new investments and follow-on rounds. Manage diligence and maintain direct client relationships. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in venture capital transactions. Experience at a nationally recognized venture capital practice preferred. Admitted to the Massachusetts and/or New York Bar or eligible for admission. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in Massachusetts and/or New York. Skills Strong project management skills. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced deal teams.
