Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Reliant Rehab Services LLC, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine specific needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address orthopedic conditions, as well as working with patients experiencing pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine issues.
• Providing skilled therapeutic care in our facility or at the patient's home, utilizing various techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery and improve function.
• Monitoring and tracking patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evidence and patient response.
• Educating patients and their family members about recovery expectations, exercises, and preventive measures through structured consultations.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes, ensuring consistent communication and shared goals.
• Meeting business objectives and productivity targets while maintaining the highest standard of customer service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will be working with diverse patient demographics, from children requiring rehabilitation postinjury to adults and seniors living with complex musculoskeletal issues. The emphasis on personalized care through tailored rehabilitation plans is key to our approach, enabling patients to navigate their recovery pathways effectively.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the APTA or CAPTE
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy for Virginia
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in word processing and computer applications

Compensation and Benefits
