Work Environment

Your role as a Physical Therapist will take place onsite at our rehabilitation center, where our state-of-the-art facility promotes holistic healing. Working Monday to Friday with a 40-hour shift schedule, our environment is collaborative and encouraging, allowing for ample interaction with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. The center is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology to aid in patient evaluations and treatments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing diverse treatment modalities encompassing therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and patient education to enhance recovery.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive treatment strategies that align with each patient's needs and physician's directives.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients and their families.
• Educating and training patients and caregivers to support ongoing recovery and rehabilitation outside of clinic visits.
• Meeting the clinic's performance metrics and assisting in broader organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Treating a diverse range of patients, from young athletes to older adults, you will address various physical therapy needs, tailoring your approach to suit each individual's circumstances and goals. This role will require you to develop strong, rapport-based relationships with patients, enabling them to achieve their maximum functional potential.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient computer skills to maintain patient records effectively.
• An empathetic, patient-centered approach combined with a genuine desire to connect with others.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting, particularly with orthopedic cases.
• Additional certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy, such as sports medicine or pediatrics.
• A proven track record of meeting or exceeding utilization goals in previous positions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:
