Key Responsibilities

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic recovery.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Establish specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals in collaboration with patients, regularly assessing their progress.
• Create and utilize educational materials and resources to instruct patients about their conditions, recovery processes, and effective home exercise programs.
• Guide and train patients in the use of assistive devices and other tools aimed at enhancing mobility and independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports following best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights on patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Engage actively in professional development activities including workshops, seminars, and continuing education to stay current in field advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists mainly of individuals undergoing rehabilitation due to orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, sports-related injuries, and trauma. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
