Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative with a strong background in building relationships with plumbing engineers and driving product specifications within the plumbing industry. This role is focused on expanding market presence, promoting product solutions, and supporting engineering teams throughout the specification process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with plumbing engineers, consultants, and key decision-makers within the assigned territory

• Promote and educate clients on product features, applications, and technical capabilities

• Drive product specifications by working closely with engineering firms and project stakeholders

• Provide technical guidance and support during the design and specification stages

• Manage territory growth through strategic sales planning and market development initiatives

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies within the plumbing sector

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, project updates, and sales activities through CRM tools

• Travel throughout the territory for client meetings, site visits, and industry events

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within plumbing, construction, HVAC, or related industries

• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, specifications, and engineering processes

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

• Ability to manage territory sales independently and meet performance goals

• Experience using CRM platforms and sales management tools

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred

• Existing relationships within the plumbing engineering or contractor community

• Familiarity with plumbing codes, standards, and regulations
