Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients’ psychological, emotional, and social needs, leading to the creation of comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate a range of therapeutic sessions, including individual counseling, couples therapy, and family interventions, utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Engage clients proactively in goal-setting and treatment planning, ensuring that they remain accountable and empowered while tracking their progress effectively.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation in accordance with state regulations and the highest ethical standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Stay current on clinical best practices and partake in ongoing professional development through seminars, training sessions, and peer supervision.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will comprise a diverse array of individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and experiences, ranging from those facing anxiety and depression to those dealing with relationship conflicts and complex family dynamics. You will be expected to apply trauma-informed approaches and culturally competent practices to address and support unique patient experiences and treatment needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of New York is mandatory.

• Proven experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families across various settings.
\n
• Strong clinical skills complemented by a solid understanding of evidence-based treatment practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with clients effectively.

• A collaborative spirit with the capability to function independently and as part of a team.
