This full-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely, contributing significantly to our Special Education Program aimed at enhancing the mental health and emotional well-being of our students. The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually.

Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still engaging deeply with the essential needs of our students and their families. While the majority of your work will be conducted from home, regular virtual meetings and team collaboration sessions will ensure a sense of community amongst staff. The work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as well as potential on-call duties to support students in crisis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, evaluating their emotional needs and educational challenges.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on therapeutic support, emotional resilience, and integration into the school community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a variety of issues, including ASD, learning disabilities, and trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at developing coping strategies and improving personal growth.

• Work collaboratively with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide integrated care.

• Be a first responder in crisis situations, providing immediate support and interventions to stabilize mental health emergencies.

• Educate students and families about mental health resources and strategies to promote lifelong wellness.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all records are up-to-date.

• Engage in team meetings and professional development activities to continually improve therapeutic practices.

• Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines to enhance service delivery and safeguard client welfare.

Qualifications\n
