Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental and emotional health through interviews and observational techniques, ensuring an accurate understanding of their individual needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at helping patients navigate mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, coping with chronic pain or terminal illness, and interpersonal difficulties.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, providing insights and recommendations that integrate psychological care into overall treatment plans for improved patient outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous medical documentation in accordance with all regulatory requirements, ensuring confidentiality and the highest standards of professionalism.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on patients in a hospice setting, necessitating a specialized understanding of the unique emotional and psychological needs associated with end-of-life care. This role involves working with individuals and families confronting grief, terminal diagnoses, and complex emotional issues, requiring sensitivity and a holistic approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by the State of California.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health care setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
