Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing flexibility to manage client interactions from home while also accommodating in-person visits as necessary at the detox center. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the potential for occasional evening or weekend hours based on client needs. We support a collaborative team environment where you work closely with interdisciplinary teams including healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community partners to deliver multifaceted care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ psychosocial needs, capturing emotional, mental, and social factors that contribute to their well-being.

• Develop individualized care plans in partnership with clients and their families, ensuring alignment with their recovery goals and personal preferences.

• Provide ongoing counseling and emotional support to clients and their families, guiding them through the challenges associated with detoxification and recovery.

• Act as a strong advocate for client rights, facilitating access to necessary community resources and support services.

• Monitor client progress through regular visits, reassessing conditions and making updates to care plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs.

• Facilitate communication between family members involved in the client’s care, addressing conflicts and ensuring that all voices are heard in the decision-making process.

• Educate clients and families about community resources, support groups, and programs designed to enhance their engagement and overall quality of life.

• Maintain detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and necessary documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Stay updated on current social work practices, treatment modalities, and community-based resources to ensure the highest level of service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients seeking detoxification services, which may include individuals struggling with substance use disorders. You will work closely with this vulnerable population and their families to provide the emotional and logistical support required during a critical time in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
