Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, establishing individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
• Implement hands-on therapeutic interventions, including mobilization techniques and therapeutic exercises, to enhance mobility and functionality in patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Regularly consult and communicate with other healthcare providers regarding patient care, fostering a team-based approach to rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, recovery processes, and strategies for maintaining progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and community outreach initiatives to enhance program development and patient engagement.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including Physical Therapist Aides and interns, to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Engage in self-directed learning and continuing education opportunities to enhance personal expertise and contribute to team knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility predominantly serves adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• Active, unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The yearly salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
