Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients to ascertain their unique needs and circumstances, leading to the development of tailored treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver individual and family therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups focused on prevalent mental health issues, fostering an environment of community and understanding.

• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement integrated care plans for complex cases.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support and develop safety plans for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
\n
• Inform patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available support resources within the community.
\n
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records while ensuring compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality regulations using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in weekly case consultations, professional development sessions, and team meetings to stay current with best practices and advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health practices, disorder diagnostics, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting detailed assessments and formulating effective intervention plans.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for establishing rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.
