Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, gathering information through interviews and preliminary questionnaires to create tailored treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in distress, employing calm and empathetic communication to stabilize situations effectively.

• Engage clients in beneficial activities and therapeutic interventions, including skill-building sessions and supportive counseling.
\n
• Maintain accurate case files and documentation, preparing comprehensive reports that reflect client progress and treatment efficacy.

• Collaborate with external agencies and resources, making necessary referrals to ensure clients receive appropriate support services.

• Monitor client reactions and adjust approaches based on individual responses, demonstrating a high level of emotional intelligence and adaptability.

• Engage in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development meetings to enhance practice skills and remain updated with best practices.

• Proactively identify signs of abuse or neglect in children, facilitating timely intervention and support for vulnerable populations.

This role focuses on a diverse client base, including children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of challenges: mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression, victims of trauma, and families navigating complex social issues. As a crucial team member, you will collaborate closely with educators and other professionals to support students' emotional and psychological needs, ensuring they thrive both academically and personally.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience (minimum of 2 years preferred) in clinical settings, with a focus on working with children and families.
\n
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, supplemented by strong organizational abilities and meticulous record-keeping.

• Competent in assessing developmental needs and understanding the complexities related to mental health disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
