SAP ABAP Developer

Job Summary:

The SAP ABAP Developer will support Core Banking Solutions by delivering strategic and day-to-day ABAP development. This role involves working with object-oriented ABAP in a hybrid work environment, contributing to scrum team activities, and ensuring high-quality, testable code aligned with business processes. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ABAP code for Core Banking Solutions, focusing on CML, CMS, and HANA-specific business processes.
Participate actively in scrum ceremonies and agile development practices.
Write testable ABAP code and develop unit tests following ABAP Test Driven Development methodologies.
Support and enhance existing SAP ABAP solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions aligned with business goals.

Required Skills & Certifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP object-oriented development.
ABAP training and certification.
Experience with ABAP Test Driven Development and ability to write testable code.
Completion of the open SAP course "Writing Testable Code".

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Experience with CML and CMS SAP modules.
Experience with ABAP development on NetWeaver 7.0 release.
Experience with HANA Classic modelling and development.
Familiarity with Run My Jobs scheduling tool.

Special Considerations:

Hybrid work model: Regina-based resources are expected onsite 60% of the time; fully remote work is allowed for candidates located elsewhere in Canada.
Role requires participation in all scrum activities and adherence to agile development processes.

Scheduling:

Full-time position with a contract term from August 31, 2026, to August 30, 2027, with possibility of extension.
Work schedule aligned with standard business hours and scrum team meetings.
