Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibility will include facilitating therapy sessions with couples, as well as providing individual sessions tailored to each family member. Key tasks will involve:

• Assessing clients' mental and emotional health to develop effective therapeutic interventions.

• Implementing treatment plans addressing issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Utilizing various therapeutic modalities and techniques to foster a safe and productive environment.
\n
• Tracking the progress of patients and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention when necessary and being responsive to emergency situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT, you will work extensively with diverse populations, ranging from adults to children and adolescents. You will address a wide array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to:

• Effects of psychological or physical abuse.
\n
• Grief, loss, and coping strategies.
\n
• Conflict resolution among family members, including siblings.
\n
• Transitions related to remarriage and blended families.

• Enhancing communication skills within families.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n

While newly licensed candidates are encouraged to apply, those with prior experience in similar roles or those who have worked in clinical settings focusing on family therapy will be prioritized.
