Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage directly with clients who are contending with major mental illnesses and emotional disorders, conducting assessments and therapy sessions both virtually and in community settings.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to further collective goals, employing a team-oriented approach to enhance client outcomes.

• Maintain high ethical standards as per professional guidelines, ensuring adherence to best practices in mental health care.

• Conduct thorough, evidence-based screenings and facilitate more detailed assessments as needed to better inform treatment plans.

• Develop comprehensive integrated care plans that ensure clients have access to vital services, coordinating with family members and other healthcare providers.

• Offer focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services while assisting with crisis intervention efforts as necessary.

• Oversee a manageable caseload, providing personalized care through individual and group therapy sessions.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout all phases of treatment, including evaluation for admissions and discharges.
\n
• Complete documentation and reports promptly and accurately to maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Participate in committees aimed at continuous quality improvement and enhancing service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with vulnerable populations that experience significant barriers to mental healthcare, including those affected by socioeconomic challenges. Your work will manifest as direct support to individuals from various socio-cultural backgrounds, ensuring each client receives individualized attention that is sensitive to their unique challenges and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is preferred.

• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis management for diverse populations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening and empathy.
