Work Environment\n

This position offers a unique remote working environment, allowing you the flexibility to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while still contributing effectively to a school setting. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of students and their families. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the unique needs and circumstances of students, developing personalized treatment plans accordingly.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including methodologies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups to address prevalent mental health concerns, enhancing the sense of community among students.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and school personnel, to ensure coordinated and cohesive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies and collaborating with emergency services when needed.

• Educate students and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can assist in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to support patient care and organizational effectiveness.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities, staying current with advancements in mental health treatment practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on a diverse client population, including students facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and adjustment disorders. Counselors will be expected to tailor their approaches to meet the specific cultural and socio-economic contexts of our patients, ensuring that services are accessible and responsive to the needs of the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
