Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions tailored to address the unique goals and limitations of each patient.
• Manage a balanced caseload, ensuring that each patient receives focused, quality care during their sessions.

• Promote a culture of health by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored fitness and wellness programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will aid individuals of all ages and activity levels, guiding them through physical rehabilitative processes aimed at restoring function and promoting active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold an active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with a clean record and no history of sanctions or board actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to develop effective exercise regimens.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for comprehensive patient documentation and record-keeping.
• Possess a thorough understanding of contemporary research-backed physical therapy methodologies and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
