Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Brilliant Mind Psychological Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial consultations and thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health statuses.

• Developing tailored therapeutic plans that address specific concerns such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and more.

• Utilizing evidence-based treatments and interventions suited to the individual needs of clients.

• Maintaining up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes within our EHR system.

• Implementing crisis intervention strategies to support clients in high-stress situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, including those coping with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and the ability to maintain composure in challenging circumstances.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse client base.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience delivering culturally responsive therapy in both individual and group settings, as well as those with a track record of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Compensation and Benefits\n
