Job Description\n Allied Support for Kids is seeking a travel School Physical Therapist for a travel job in Dallas, Texas.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Physical Therapist\n Discipline: Therapy\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 37 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Job Summary (List Format): School-Based Physical Therapist (Part-Time, Through May 2027)\n \n \n - Conduct physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments for students.\n \n - Develop and implement therapy goals to support students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).\n \n - Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services in a school setting.\n \n - Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, compliant documentation.\n \n - Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, contributing to goal setting and progress updates.\n \n - Collaborate with teachers, administrators, occupational and speech therapists, and families.\n \n - Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment, positioning devices, and mobility supports.\n \n - Train school staff on safe transfer techniques, mobility, and equipment use.\n \n - Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district special education regulations.\n \n - Support students’ participation in classroom, school-based, and extracurricular activities.\n \n - Maintain strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.\n \n - Preferred: Experience in pediatric/school-based PT, knowledge of adaptive equipment, and family coaching.\n \n - Typical duties include evaluating motor skills, creating therapy plans, consulting on classroom accessibility, and providing recommendations for mobility and positioning.\n \n - Part-time role: 3 days/week, 22.5 hours/week, through May 2027.\n \n Allied Support for Kids Job ID #JPC -1630697.
