Business Office Manager

THRYVE Healthcare Business Office Manager Join our team at THRYVE Healthcare as a Business Office Manager, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents. As a key member of our business office team, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivables and providing exceptional customer service to our residents and their families. Responsibilities Ensure that Public Aid applications are completed within 7 days of admission by coordinating with the Admissions Department and family. Utilize Medicaid Pending Checklist, Medicaid Eligibility reports, and RFMS to manage resident financial information. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all residents. Enroll Medicaid and Medicaid Pending residents in direct deposit for all income types through RFMS upon admission. Verify responsible party information and assign residents to billing categories. Collaborate with Corporate Office and family members to resolve billing-related questions and concerns. Update Regional BOM on Public Aid changes and upload supporting documentation to PCC resident profiles. Rerun Medicaid eligibility reports monthly and apply for BCBS secondary insurance as needed. Make weekly collection calls to families and track progress. Utilize AR aging reports in PCC to optimize collections and ensure timely payments. Notify facility administrators of any issues or IVDs that require attention. Complete Medicaid Redetermination forms and attend Medicare Meetings as needed. Review RFMS reconciliation reports, reconcile trust, and submit income changes for Social Security income changes. Complete daily census, pay monthly resident insurance premiums, and follow up with DHS for Medicaid Pending cases. Submit accounts to collections when necessary, document all collection efforts, and compete daily deposits and credit card payments. Requirements 2 years of experience in a business office setting Strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMRs) Join our team and be a part of providing exceptional care and service to our residents.
