Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health to identify concerns and formulate clinical diagnoses, ensuring accurate understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other approaches that best fit each client's situation.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions that prioritize client goals and incorporate feedback mechanisms for ongoing improvement.

• Offer critical crisis intervention and support strategies for clients dealing with acute challenges or emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, following ethical guidelines and legal regulations.

• Engage in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to facilitate holistic care for clients and optimize treatment approaches.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, while advocating for clients' rights and needs.

• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in mental health therapy through continuous professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients from various backgrounds, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid license as a mental health therapist in New York (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a clinical mental health setting is preferred; however, newer professionals are also encouraged to apply for entry-level positions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
