Travel Nurse RN - Med-Surg - $2,200 Per WeekAny traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.General job duties include floating between various medical and surgical units. Types of procedures required include those performed in a medical-surgical setting. Shift or schedule requirements are 12-hour shifts - night (1845 to 0715) - scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.Equipment utilized in the unit/department includes Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes. Required skills and minimum years of experience include 2-10 years' experience. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required are BLS, ACLS (preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC). Floating to other units/departments includes the Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions). Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept are Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit is Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights; Laulima 1:6; Cardiovascular 1:4. Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves.Dress code is professional nursing attire - clean scrubs. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
