Work Environment

The primary setting for this role is home care, where you will be working closely with patients in their own environments, offering personalized treatment and support. This full-time position entails a variable schedule that includes approximately 40 hours a week, with some weekend hours depending on patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Provide ongoing assessments and documentation of patient progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Deliver education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, exercises, and expected outcomes to ensure full understanding and engagement in their recovery process.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Perform clinical documentation that meets all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards, including timely submission of charges for services rendered.
• Engage in community outreach and participate in training programs to enhance team competencies and improve service delivery.
• Supervise and mentor supporting staff while managing departmental resources effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Renown Physical Therapy, you will work primarily with diverse patient populations in their homes, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain conditions, or coping with neurological disorders. You will utilize specialized techniques and equipment tailored to their specific needs, ensuring that treatment is effective and rooted in evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy and current BLS certification are mandatory.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication skills is essential, as is competency in using computer systems for documentation.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy is required. Experience in home health care, particularly working directly with patients in their residences, is preferred as it enhances your ability to provide effective, personalized care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
